Terms and Conditions

These terms are between you and Carly Docking, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom trading as The Curious Collective ("I", "me"). They cover your use of this website and, if you're accepted, your place on the Freedom by Design Group Coaching Programme ("the Programme"). By submitting an application or paying for a place, you agree to these terms. Contact: hello@thecuriouscollective.net.

The Programme is a six-month group coaching programme for a maximum of six members. It includes weekly group coaching sessions with me, a private group chat, breakout sessions between calls, in-person meet-ups for UK members who are able to attend, six months' access to the Freedom First membership, and continued access to the group chat after the Programme ends. Session days and times are agreed with the group before the start date. I may adjust the format where reasonably necessary, and I'll tell you if I do.

Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. I review every application and decide who is offered a place at my discretion. A place is confirmed only when I've accepted your application in writing and you've paid the fee or the first instalment. If the places are filled before I reach your application, I'll let you know and offer you first refusal on the next group.

The fee for the Programme is £2,500. You can pay in full or by an agreed payment plan; the plan details will be confirmed in writing before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. If you choose a payment plan, you're agreeing to pay the full fee, and instalments remain due for the whole Programme even if you stop attending.

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you pay, during which you can cancel and receive a full refund of anything paid, unless the Programme has already started. If the Programme starts within those 14 days, by attending the first session you agree that the service has begun; I may then deduct a proportionate amount for sessions already delivered before refunding the rest.

After the cooling-off period, or once the Programme has started, fees are non-refundable and any remaining instalments are still payable. If I cancel the Programme before it starts, you'll receive a full refund of everything paid.

The Programme works because everyone in it turns up. You agree to attend the weekly sessions where you reasonably can, to do the work agreed in them, and to treat the other members with respect. What's shared in the group stays in the group: you agree not to share other members' business ideas, personal details, or anything discussed in sessions or the chat outside the group. I may remove a member who breaches these expectations, without refund.

Group sessions may be recorded so that members who miss one can catch up; these recordings are for members only. I may also share my own journey during the Programme publicly, including on YouTube. I will not publish your name, image, voice, or the details of your business without your separate written consent, which you're free to decline.

I'll give you my full effort, a proven process, and a group of people building alongside you. I can't guarantee a particular outcome, because your results depend on your idea, your market, and the work you put in. Nothing I say is financial, legal, or tax advice; take professional advice where you need it.

Course materials, templates, recordings, and other Programme content are mine (or licensed to me) and are for your personal use in building your own business. You may not resell, share, or redistribute them. You keep ownership of your business ideas, plans, and anything you create.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability to you for any loss arising from your use of this site or the Programme is limited to the amount you paid for the Programme. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited under UK law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.

I may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. If you're on the Programme, the terms you agreed to when you paid are the ones that apply to you.
